For many of us, when it comes to COVID-19, the end is in sight. One of the reasons for that is because of the thousands of doses of the coronavirus vaccine that are currently being administered throughout Colorado, such as those distributed at community vaccine sites.

Governor Polis went live from Commerce City on Monday, March 22, to announce that yet another Colorado Community Vaccination Site has opened in Commerce City as a part of his Vaccines For All plan.

Partnering with Centura Health, the government opened drive-up vaccine clinics at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo and, most recently, at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City.

On his Facebook page, Polis said they’re beginning with 500 vaccines, working towards 2,000 vaccines by tomorrow, March 23, and eventually, when the supply is ready, healthcare professionals will administer 6,000 vaccines a day.

You can sign up to be vaccinated at one of these locations at the link right here.  If you can’t make it all the way out to Commerce City, there are still ways to find out where to get your COVID-19 vaccine: Use the gallery below to find somewhere near you in NoCo or head to Colorado’s vaccine portal right here.

The NoCo Virus Tracker articles are made possible by our partners, the Keep NoCo Open campaign that reminds citizens to wear a mask, wash your hands, physically distance and support local as Northern Colorado recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
