Nunn Police arrested two men for a bank robbery this week in Evans. On Wednesday June 6 at approximately 4:20 PM Evans officers responded to a robbery alarm at the Evans branch of Community Banks of Colorado at 3635 23rd Ave.

Tellers reported a male suspect had entered the bank and presented a note. When the teller opened the cash drawer the suspect removed bills and fled out the main entrance. The suspect was seen by witnesses to enter the passenger side of a black Chevrolet Avalanche parked nearby and the vehicle fled the area. No weapon was seen or displayed.

About an hour after the robbery an officer from the Nunn, Colorado Police Department stopped a vehicle matching the description traveling north on Highway 85. The officer was able to find evidence connecting the vehicle and its occupants to the Evans robbery.
