It's been almost a decade since Twenty One Pilots have played smaller rooms, like Denver's Bluebird Theater, which has a capacity if 550 people (Aggie Theatre is 600 for reference). But, the duo will take the stage there, and then at the Ogden Theatre, which holds 1,600, when they kick off their 'Takeøver Tour' in Denver this fall.

On Wednesday, July 16, Twenty One Pilots announced the Takeøver Tour, which will only go to six U.S. cities, and Denver is one of them. Working their way from the small clubs to the arenas, the tour will begin in Colorado on Tuesday, September 21 at the Bluebird Theater, and continue Wednesday, September 22 at the Ogden Theatre, Thursday, September 23 at the Mission Ballroom and Saturday, September 25 at Ball Arena.

'Wow.  We’re playing shows again,' Twenty One Pilots' Josh Dun said in a news release. 'I couldn’t visualize taking another break like we did before Trench, but then we were forced to. Live shows coming back is something I think we’ve all really been waiting for, and we can’t wait to see you again soon.'

You can register now to get first access to tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform, until 6 p.m. MST on Saturday, June 19.
