Trail Ridge Road is Officially Open For the Season

It's officially open— but beware of icy conditions.

While travelers expected Trail Ridge Road to open on Memorial Day Weekend as it usually does, a late May snowstorm derailed those plans and crews had to plow the road rather than open it to vehicles. Remember this???

The National Parks Service warns that because of weather conditions, night closures are possible, but you can always call the park's Trail Ridge Road recorded phone line for updates: (970) 586-1222.
