Tommy Hilfiger just finessed his way into a whole lotta money after selling his recently acquired Aspen, Colorado mansion.

According to a report from the Aspen Times, Tommy Hilfiger recently made a killing when selling his mansion in Aspen, Colorado after just three months of buying it.

Tommy Hilfiger Buys Aspen Mansion

Legendary fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and his wife, Dee Ocleppo purchased their massive Aspen mansion in December 2021. The couple had plans of passing on the home to their children and hoped to keep it in the family for generations to come.

The mansion was built in 2003, but according to the Compass listing, the property was owned, " by the same family since the 1950s where three generations of many kids have enjoyed the 'ski-out-the-door, drop-in-to-town' Aspen lifestyle. "

Tommy Hilfiger's Aspen Ski Resort Property Highly Sought After

Not long after purchasing the 7,150 square feet home, the couple was approached about possibly re-selling the property.

Ski-resort property is a hot commodity, especially in a place like Aspen, known to be a celebrity haven.

Since Hilfiger and his wife were already making generational plans for the property, they told the listing agent, Steven Shane of Compass in Aspen, that they wouldn't be easily swayed and that it would take a big number to convince them to sell.

Tommy Hilfiger Sells Aspen Mansion

Shane stated that "after a couple of conversations back and forth, we agreed to a price.” Tommy Hilfiger initially paid $30.945 million for the property and sold the property for $50 million.

That's an approximate net gain of $19 million in just four months!

According to CelebrityNetWorth, Tommy Hilfiger is already worth $450 million, and he actually has an extensive history when it comes to flipping properties for profit in a short time.

So was Tommy's generational tale true? Who knows, but it sure put a lot of money in his bank account.
