Toast Coffee and Wine Bar Opens in Windsor, Our Prayers Are Answered

Toast, a new cafe in downtown Windsor, has officially opened its doors on 4th and Main Street -- and believe me, all of us at the station are rejoicing. 

I write this while happily sipping on an iced Chai latte, which I haven't done since Nana Bea's at House of Windsor on Main closed months ago, leaving a coffee shop void in downtown Windsor. (House of Windsor is now Robin's Nest, a locally-owned ice cream shop and bakery, also worth checking out.)

Our station is located at 6th and Main, so this was just a quick walk down the street, and I anticipate many more. While I went straight for the latte because I'm a total Chai fiend, they also serve wine, beer on tap, gourmet toast and more -- dine-in or to-go.

We all know that downtown Windsor has had some misfortune lately, so we really love seeing these small businesses popping up on Main. Take a look inside, and stop by next time you're in the neighborhood -- they just opened today.
