It's a hard job, but someone's gotta do it: Thrillist reached out to their best beer writers in search of the top beers in all 50 states...but what made the cut in Colorado?

Thrillist said that their criteria included the following:

We looked for the pioneers, beers that made history, paved the way for others to excel--and beers that are simply the most beloved in that state.

It's no surprise that New Belgium made the list: our hometown brewery has been around for 25 years and changed the game for sours in the craft beer industry. Thrillist included NBB's La Folie, calling it a "pinnacle of the style, and a modern classic".

Denver's German-style brewery, Bierstadt, also made the list with their Slow Pour, a pilsner coming in at 5.1%. Last but not least was our beloved Greeley hang, WeldWerks, and their award-winning IPA Juicy Bits.

Do you think Thrillist got it right? Let us know in the comments.
