UPDATE: According to The Denver Channel, two more accidents occured after 4:00 p.m.  One was a rollover crash and the other was a two-vehicle accident.  You can read more details about these accidents on The Denver Channel's website here.

Three separate crashes in Weld and Larimer County claimed the lives of three people on the icy roads Wednesday night.

The first accident was on Highway 287 and Highway 72 in Larimer County. One person died, and the other was taken to the hospital according to Colorado State Patrol.

The next accident was on Highway 14 near Ault. Claiming the life of another person, a 27-year-old man and sending tow more to the hospital for injuries. The third cash was located at Highway 392 and Weld CR 45 where a 63-year-old woman lost her life due to injuries from the crash.

The roads were very slick this evening and very dangerous. Please drive safe when you are heading to work.
