This Popular Colorado Restaurant Closed Its Doors On Another Location
A popular Colorado homestyle restaurant has closed down another local location. Only eight locations remain across Colorado as of now. How long will those last?
Popular Colorado Restaurant Chain Closes Another Location
2023 is off to an interesting start as far as business owners are concerned. Popular restaurants and businesses both local and chain owned are either scaling way back on staff, or closing their doors all together. From BIG Lots closing four Colorado locations, to TJ MAXX leaving the 16th Street Mall after 30 years, even a local Northern Colorado Cupcakery closed its doors for good. It's a sad start to what had potential to be a great year. Now, another homestyle favorite has announced the closing of another one of their Colorado locations.
The Black-eyed Pea Closes Another Colorado Location
Remember when there used to be a Black-eyed Pea in Loveland inside of the Target shopping center on Highway 34? It feels like it opened up, and was closed not even a year later. It's since been remodled and is a Buffalo Wild Wings. That was the first of about nine Black-eyed Pea closures over the years that has locked its doors for good. This week it was announced that the restaurant chains only Denver location, right off of I-25 and Colorado Boulevard, has closed permanently.
Denver's Only Black-eyed Pea Is Now Closed
How can you not love those old cheesy BEP TV copmmercials? With the only location in the city of Denver now closed, how long will it be until the other 8 locations across Colorado start to dissapeer? For now, you can still enjoy this tasty homestyle food in Northglenn (closest location to Northern Colorado), Westminster, Lakewood, Englewood, Parker, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. Although it's been a while, I always enjoyed going to the Black-eyed Pea with my family over the years, so I hope these remaining locations find a way to stay around.
