The University of Colorado Boulder Named One of America’s Top Party Schools

College comparisons have become a national obsession. From academics and sports to campus life and cost, it seems like more of a competition than anything else. Now we are even ranking the top party schools in the country. A list that will deter parents, but may intrigue a young rowdy student. As no surprise, our neighbors from Boulder ranked high on the list.

Newsweek and the Daily Beast have come out with their list of the top party schools in the country for 2012. The rankings were compiled, in part, by looking at the number of on-campus arrests and per-student disciplinary actions for drugs and alcohol that occurred in 2010. West Virginia was No. 1, followed by Penn State. Bonus points were given to campuses that landed on The Princeton Review’s most recent rating of top party schools.
