The "new normal" is currently developing in Fort Collins: It means smaller future gatherings and changes for local businesses. Not only that, it means that eventually, restaurant and bar capacities might be a lot smaller.

For a bar like The Town Pump, famously established in 1909, their capacity is already limited. Because of this, in order to survive, they're having to make some changes.

The Town Pump posted on their Facebook page earlier today (May 12) that they received an encroachment permit, which means they're able to expand their front patio and increase their capacity. According to their post, "this is one way to help us survive and move forward into the new norm." See the full post here:

We're happy that The Town Pump will be waiting for us when it reopens.
