The next time you drive along the Las Vegas strip you will surely notice something new. No, it's not a fancy hotel/casino or a flashing new sign. Instead it's a big ferris wheel that opened yesterday (March 31st) and it looks badass. 

The giant 550-foot-tall attraction is the highest observation wheel in the world and features 28 cabins that can accommodate up to 40 people each. The Las Vegas High Roller at The LINQ is part of $550 million restaurant, bar, retail and entertainment development (The LINQ) built by casino giant Caesars Entertainment Corp. between its Flamingo, Harrah's and renamed Quad hotel-casinos.

Tickets for a ride in one of the air-conditioned gondolas are $24.95 during the day and $34.95 at night, with front-of-the-line VIP passes selling for $59.95. Pricey, sure, but watching the below video makes it almost seem worth it...
