The Best Pie in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado – Butch’s Top 5
We are down to one week until we get to stuff ourselves silly for Thanksgiving, the only holiday that we celebrate by eating the whole day. Turkey may be the main event, the potatoes, stuffing, and cranberries are important, but I don't think I am alone in saying the very best part of Thanksgiving is the pie! Mom and Grandma can make a great pie I am sure, but today is for those of us who are a little more lazy... My favorite restaurant/store bought pies in all of Northern Colorado.

Fiona's Delicatessen
1001 E Harmony Rd, Fort CollinsAll the homemade fruit pies your little heart can handle are available as well as the to die for Salted Caramel Apple and the Chocolate Bourbon Pecan, but if you want to mix it up a little this year try a few of the numerous different dessert bars!

JB's
2501 8th Ave, GreeleySince 1937 they have been serving up the best burgers in Northern Colorado, but burgers aren't the only thing that are top notch at JB's. Yes, they offer up a huge variety of fruit pies, but their pride and joy are the cream pies that boss-lady, Geneva, whips up fresh every morning! The Lemon Meringue is so good that you better get there early, or I promise they will be out!

Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery
509 Big Thompson Ave, Estes ParkBack in 2011 The Denver Post went on a mission to find the best pie, not just in Northern Colorado, but the whole front range, and when their work was all done, Estes Park's little pie shop came out on top of them all! Flavors are ever changing, but one thing is for sure, you will never have a pie that you don't love in Estes Park!

Johnson's Corner
2842 S.E. Frontage Rd, JohnstownNot just known for their cinnamon rolls, but recognized all around the world for their cinnamon rolls, Johnson's Corner clearly knows how to make baked goods. Yes, that goes for pies as well as cinnamon rolls. 13 different homemade flavors to choose from including all the favorites, but maybe my favorite pie in this whole world comes from Johnson's Corner... Peanut Butter Oreo!

Fat Albert's
1717 23rd Ave, GreeleyFor my birthday every year as I was growing up, I always got to pick where I wanted to go out and eat. There was never any question in my mind. It was always Fat Albert's simply because I knew I would get a piece of pie! When people from Greeley and surrounding towns think pie, they think Sue and the staff at Fat Albert's who have been doing pie the best for thirty years!
