UPDATE: Teen Arrested in Missing Girl Case From Berthoud

On Friday afternoon, Tanner Flores was arrested after being found in Mesa County with the body of a young woman in his truck. That body has not as yet been identified.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Larimer County Sheriff's office received a report of a missing person around 8pm on Thursday night. 18-year-old Ashley Marie Doolittle of Berthoud was overdue to return home, so her family went looking for her.  They found her unoccupied car near Lon Hagler Reservoir.

In speaking with Ashley's family, deputies learned that Ashley had recently ended a relationship with 18-year-old Tanner George Flores and that he was upset and distraught over the recent breakup.

Tanner had not been seen since 3:30 yesterday afternoon.  He drives a white 1999 Dodge 2500 diesel pickup with Colorado licence plate 121 XGO.  Investigators also have information to believe he may be armed with a handgun.
