Teacher Tuesday: April's Teacher of the Month Is Amy Uhrich

You nominated six local teachers for going above and beyond in April, and we asked you to vote for your favorite educator to be Teacher of the Month.

Now, the results are in.

April's Teacher of the Month is...

Amy Uhrich, a first grade teacher at Zach Elementary School. Ms. Uhrich's student Remy and their mom Amy nominated her because she "is the best teacher," stating: "She is kind, helpful, and always there for you."

Ms. Uhrich told Townsquare NoCo that her favorite things about being a teacher are celebrating her students' growth and seeing them smile every day.

When she's not teaching, Ms. Uhrich likes listening to country music, watching Grey's Anatomy, and attending CSU Rams games.

To thank Ms. Uhrich for working hard to serve local students in our community, we're honoring her with five amazing prizes.

April's Teacher Tuesday winner takes home:
