The Beaver Creek fire is burning near the Colorado-Wyoming border has grown into a massive wildfire. The blaze north of Walden has grown to 7,000 acres.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is warning residents of very high fire danger right now. Larimer County is experiencing higher temperatures and lower humidity than normal with no significant changes in the immediate weather forecast...

Crews are battling a 19-acre wildfire near the Crystal Lakes area. Evacuation notifications were sent to 136 homes in the area because of the “Beartrap Fire”.

If you noticed smoke around the Grand Lake area of RMNP this week: 1) Yes, it was a wildfire, and 2) it is now contained.

On Wednesday while reporting on a wildfire near Los Angeles, a KTLA reporter was getting reactions from local residents. Then, out of the smoke, a man with no shirt holding a dog emerged. Even before the reporter had a chance to ask him a question, he was smitten with her beauty and decided to let his feelings be known right then and there.

Ugh, we were all already complaining about the heat this week, but now the Coloradoan is reporting that there are two small wildfires burning in the Cherokee Park area of Larimer County. Let's hope these things get put out quickly.

Firefighters are battling TWO new blazes in Larimer County. The Denver Channel is reporting that "fire crews are responding to a fire in steep terrain, west of Pinewood Reservoir." The Larimer Sheriff announced via twitter that there are now two fires burning in the area.
