After Roseanne Barr took aim at a former Obama advisor in a racist tweet, ABC has canceled her revival series.

Everyone remembers the ABC television show "Roseanne," which ran from 1988 to 1997 and focused on the Connor family. The Connors were a working-class family from Lanford, Ill., that struggled to make ends meet. The show was a huge hit and everyone loved it.

It was on this day in 1990 that the San Diego Padres had a home doubleheader scheduled at  Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego, and also a day sports fans and Americans will never forget. It wasn't because of a record breaking home-run or perfect game, as a matter of fact it had nothing to do with the game at all.
