Riot Fest

Byers, it's a small town about 40 miles east of Denver, and if it wasn't for the big punk/alternative rock festival, Riot Fest, that was there last summer, most of Colorado and the rest of the world would have never known it existed.

Last year was the first time that Colorado hosted Riot Fest, which was originally a Chicago rock music festival. However, instead of having the festival at Red Rocks, Fiddler's, the Pepsi Center, or any other venue made for that stuff, organizers decided to go out to a farm in Byers.
