Papa Roach have always had a close bond with their fanbase, so when the Make-A-Wish Foundation came knocking asking the band to participate in making one special fan’s dream come true, they were more than willing to be a part of the experience.

Congratulations to Papa Roach frontman and Loudwire columnist Jacoby Shaddix, as he and his wife Kelly have just welcomed their third child, Brixton Gabriel Shaddix, into the world.

Papa Roach have been forced to reschedule a number of South American performances due to concerns over singer Jacoby Shaddix's health. The vocalist successfully underwent vocal cord surgery last year and in a new statement regarding Papa Roach's South American cancellations, Shaddix "prays to God" that he won't be victim to a second surgery.

Last week, Carnival of Madness revealed the arsenal of rock bands that will head up their 2013 trek including Shinedown, Papa Roach, Skillet, In This Moment and We as Human. Now, the first leg of dates and locations have been unveiled. As Sick Puppies gear up for the release of their upcoming 'Connect' album, they're finding a lot of love for their music and that includes a very public nod of support from longtime pal and Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix.

Papa Roach are digging deeper into 'The Connection' album, with 'Silence Is the Enemy' now the fifth song to surface from the release. The band just released a new lyric video for the powerful track that can be seen above.

Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix has seen his fair share of hard times, but out of the darkness, he's still maintained a sense of optimism and that shines through particularly strong within the band's latest single, 'Leader of the Broken Hearts.' That light in the dark is exactly what's at the heart of the band's new video for the track.

Papa Roach are fresh off a tour with Stone Sour, and now they're ready to take the headlining spot all for themselves with 'The Connection' tour. The trek will also feature Escape the Fate and Otherwise burning up stages across the United States.

I have heard more times than I can count that rock bands today have no staying power, I can somewhat see the point, but then there are bands that continue to kick ass after 20 years like Papa Roach. This Sunday (Feb. 17th) they will be in concert with Stone Sour at the FIllmore Auditorium in Denver. Papa Roach lead singer, Jacoby Shaddix, stopped by to talk to Butch first.

Papa Roach are ending 2012 with a little video extravaganza. Earlier this month, fans got the 'Where Did the Angels Go' clip and now, getting in just under the 2012 deadline, there's a new video for 'Before I Die.'
