A CSU rugby star is headed to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, soon to play for Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics. He is one of two CSU athletes in the games.

Excitement and anticipation are being felt by people all around the world, as we gear up for the Olympic games to kick off in just a few weeks from now. Here in Fort Collins, we are especially pumped to get to watch a talented athlete from Colorado State University compete for the gold, thousands of miles away in Rio.

With the Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro only a short time away, we started to wonder in the office if the Winter Olympics could ever come to Colorado.

The Summer Games don't occur until 2016, but watching sports on the Altitude Network over the weekend made me think that if Northern Colorado had our own Olympics every two years, what sports would fit the area perfectly?
