If you've been struggling over who to support in the rumored Megadeth/Jason Newsted feud, take it easy. According to a rep for Megadeth, the rumors surrounding Newsted's recent exit from the Megadeth tour aren't true.

Given that they are both former members of Metallica, one would think Dave Mustaine and Jason Newsted would get along famously. However, that appears not to be the case, as we learn that Newsted's self-titled band has been thrown off an Australian tour by headliners Megadeth.

Back in the '90s, Robert Rolfe Feddersen was the singer of a band called Loudmouth. These days, he's a folk rock singer who will be releasing the album 'American Loser' on Feb. 25. One of the songs on the album is 'Dave's Lament,' a track Feddersen wrote about Dave Mustaine.

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson recently released his autobiography 'My Life With Deth.' The collaboration with veteran metal scribe Joel McIver chronicles Ellefson's younger years in Minnesota, his career in Megadeth, his struggles with addiction and eventual sobriety and his faith.

While his classmates are idolizing today's current crop of pop stars, this kid is busy channeling Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine as he performs an impressive rendition of the Megadeth classic 'Angry Again.'

Metal fans rejoiced back in 2010 and 2011 when the Big 4 of thrash (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax) joined forces for a handful of shows around the world, including the most recent one at New York's Yankee Stadium in September 2011. Fans still holding out hope that these four metal powerhouses might join forces again on the same stage in the future may not get their way.

Megadeth have just unveiled a music video for their newest album's title track, 'Super Collider.' The clip tells the story of two students who fall for each other after a mishap in science class, only to be torn apart by a furious father played by Megadeth's own Dave Mustaine.

Megadeth are fourteen studio albums into their career and showing that they still have a few tricks up their sleeves. As the band approaches the release of their 'Super Collider' album, they've just debuted another song off the disc called 'The Blackest Crow' which has some instrumentation not usually heard in the band's music.

Little by little, Megadeth are unveiling more pieces to their upcoming album, 'Super Collider.' But by no means is the latest gem from the band "little." Megadeth come rocking out of the gates with the new song, 'Kingmaker,' which has surfaced online ahead of the band's 'Super Collider' album release along with the disc's full track listing.

This summer concert season is already shaping up to be one of the best in a long time, and it just got better. Gigantour 2013's multi-artist bill features metal heavyweights Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted and Death Division, all personally picked by Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine. The festival hits Colorado Friday, August 2nd at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield.
