The new Avengers 2 trailer has arrived online early after Marvel tweeted out a call to their fans to tweet using the #AvengersAssemble hashtag. Officially premiering on Thursday with the series premiere of American Crime on ABC and in theaters with Cinderella, you don't have to wait any longer to see the biggest and best Avengers 2 trailer yet.

Yesterday, Sir Patrick Stewart revealed that he would not, as was widely suspected, be returning for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. He did, however, tease his involvement in the next ‘Wolverine’ movie saying, “we have been talking about a Wolverine movie, which would team Hugh Jackman and myself together.” He offered no further details, so we took this rumor straight to the man himself, Wolverine, and asked Hugh Jackman for some details.

A couple of days ago some e-mails pertaining to the future of the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise were revealed from the massive Sony hack. Those e-mails confirmed that Sony had indeed been discussing a potential Spider-Man crossover into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the character making his debut in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ Although the e-mails indicated that those talks between Sony and Marvel fell through, a new report has shed some light on what Marvel Studios would do with the character if they ever get him back.

Well this is definitely a pleasant surprise! Those who tuned in to tonight's new episode of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' were treated to a very special dispatch from Marvel: the studio will be premiering the first official trailer for 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' during next week's all-new episode, so we guess you'll just have to tune-in again. But you were already planning on doing that anyway, weren't you? Unless you're a member of Hydra or something.

As successful as 'Guardians of the Galaxy' was at the box-office (and, as the highest-grossing film of the year, it certainly was that), the film's iconic soundtrack was equally as successful. "Awesome Mix Vol. 1" spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and is currently the 10th largest selling album of 2014. You've been able to buy the digital album, the CD, vinyl and even a "Deluxe Edition," but so far, no actual cassette like the mix tape in the film. But, that's all about to change.

Now that Joaquin Phoenix is out of the running for Marvel's 'Doctor Strange,' we're sure to be hearing more big names as the search is on for a major star to become the Sorcerer Supreme. And here's the latest rumor: Ewan McGregor is the current favorite to fill those magic shoes.

First, the good news: Robert Downey, Jr. has agreed to star in 'Iron Man 4' for Marvel! Considering everything he has been saying over the past year or so - essentially that he can't imagine an 'Iron Man 4' ever happening - that's a major step in the right direction and a huge win for Marvel Studios. But...Downey's agreement has come with one rather large condition. That his old friend, and current member of the Hollywood blacklist, Mel Gibson be allowed to direct.

We've heard precious little since Marvel's announcement of an epic Netflix 'Defenders' package to begin with 'Daredevil' in 2015, along with the decision that all five series would shoot in New York, but with casting in limbo, at least some news have emerged. Relatively little of Marvel's forthcoming Netflix 'Defenders' project have emerged, apart from the writing minds behind 'Daredevil' and 'Jessica Jones,' but now New Yorkers have something special to look forward to. Marvel's coming Netflix series will principally shoot on location in their proper New York City hometown, with 'Daredevil' set to begin filming in summer 2014!
