Foothills Mall

First, there was Fuzzy's, then Illegal Pete's. Now, another Tex-Mex restaurant is popping up on College Avenue in the new Foothills Mall.

Until this weekend, Northern Colorado millennials really hadn't stepped foot outside their own breakfast burrito-eating, Harry Potter-reading, video game-playing, Kardashian keeping-up-withing, antisocial lives. Then, Pokemon Go began blowing up their Facebook newsfeeds and changing their lives for the better.

As the Foothills Mall gets closer to completion, the city of Fort Collins and the Colorado Department of Transportation are doing what they can to make the mall accessible to public transportation.

Sports Authority is supposed to move its Old Town location to the Foothills Mall  this year. But with 140 store closures nationwide - 3 of which are in Colorado - it isn't too out of line to wonder, will Sports Authority pull the plug on its Foothills move before it even opens?
