Two Classic Rock icons on the same stage this June in Denver.

Two of the most legendary bands in American music history have made their way to the Rocky Mountains to play at the best concert venue this country has to offer tonight. Rock legends Chicago and The Doobie Brothers will share the stage this summer evening for a night of classic rock hits spanning both artists’ extensive repertoire of chart topping and award winning hits.

For the fifth time in their careers, Chicago and the Doobie Brothers will tour together. The two classic rock bands will be on the road playing mostly sheds and amphitheaters for 25 dates across the country between July 11 and August 26. Chicago are the headliners, but the show promises to have both bands on stage for the finale playing some of their biggest hits.

Michael Hossack of the Doobie Brothers died Monday (March 12) of cancer. The drummer, who was in the band from 1971 to 1973 and then again from 1987 to 2010, was 65 years old.

Lynyrd Skynyrd have signed on host and curate the 2012 Simple Man Cruise, a floating rock ‘n’ roll party set for Oct. 27-31 on Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest luxury liner, the Pearl.
