Obviously the way to sell a professional sports franchise is not by putting them on Craigslist. It's a joke, son, but a good one at that. However, it seems as though Dick Monfort has to get out as owner of the Colorado Rockies!

Colorado State University will honor a well-known business man Friday with an honorary degree. Dick Monfort, former cattle and meat packing plant owner and current owner of the Colorado Rockies. CSU President, Tony Frank, will award Monfort with a degree of Doctor of Humane Letters, Honoris Causa, and points out that Monfort is a champion for higher education and Fort Collins.
