Larimer County recorded a total of 18 deaths during the month of February, including the youngest death the county has accounted for during the pandemic.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis has ordered all flags to fly at half-staff through Friday, February, 26th to honor the 500,000 lives that have been lost due to COVID-19.
There have now been a total of 219 COVID-19 deaths in Larimer County since the beginning of the pandemic. The addition of 3 new deaths brings the county's death toll for February to 14.
The Larimer County Department of Health reported that the number of people hospitalized in the county with COVID-19 had dropped to 22 on Monday (Feb. 8).
As of Monday morning, Larimer County has a positivity rating of 4.8% and an overall prevalence of 271 cases per 100,000 people over the past two weeks.
