Christmas Tree

The annual NightLights Tree Lighting Celebration is tonight (Monday, December 1st) at 6pm at 531 South College Avenue, the corner of Mulberry & College in Fort Collins.

Oskar the blind cat, who seems to have grown substantially since we last saw him, helps his owner set up a Christmas tree in this adorable video.

When it comes to the Christmas tree, I have long held a traditionalist view. I love the real tree. Cutting it down (or buying at a lot if need be), enjoying it's non-factory produced imperfections, taking in the fresh pine smell, stringing lights, decorating, daily watering, vacuuming needles. In spite of all this, I have an artificial tree in my home.
