Colorado is know for having some of the best breweries in the country, and Thrillist decided to get science involved to find the best of them all.

The grand opening of the new Anheuser-Busch Brewery Biergarten is this Friday (December 5) from 5 to 8 p.m., and you can enjoy their first "Fire Pit Friday."

Adding to the growing Fort Collins beer landscape is Anheuser-Busch who is in the middle of construction of a new restaurant and beer garden that is schedule to open later this month.

This year's Great American Brew Festival and competition, or GABF for short, starts this Thursday at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

There are only about two or three channels I watch on TV when I get really bored. One of them that never seems to disappoint is the Travel Channel. With shows like "Bizarre Foods," "Food Paradise," and "Man Vs. Food" there always seems to be something decent on.

When you think of craft beer in Northern Colorado, undoubtedly your attention turns to Fort Collins, which may be the craft beer capital of the world. However, Fort Collins' Northern Colorado neighbor, Greeley, isn't a slouch when it comes to craft brews. The city will see is about to get it's fourth brewery, WeldWerks Brewing Co.

Fort Collins' beer scene just keeps getting bigger and better. Last month we saw the cities 13th brewery, 1933, open it's doors. Now, if my math is correct, Fort Collins will soon see it's 14th brewery when Horse & Dragon Brewery opens up on May 1st.

When you think of Seattle you think of coffee shops on every corner. Soon, when you think of Fort Collins, you may just think about breweries on every corner! And I don't know about you, but I think I will take beer and mountains over coffee and rain any day!

The federal government shutdown is creating some unintended consequence for craft brewers across the country. The shutdown has closed a small agency that is in charge of approving new breweries, beer recipes and beer labels. That could mean bad news for some Northern Colorado breweries, but not all of them.

When you think of Fort Collins, you think of craft beer. Even if you don't drink beer and you think of Fort Collins, you still think of craft beer. It's a big part of our community and some local breweries are teaming up to build a Habitat For Humanity home in town for a family that lost their home last summer in the High Park Fire.
