Suspect Identified in Centerra Jewelry Store Burglaries

Two burglaries happened when a stolen vehicle was rammed into two separate jewelry stores located in Centerra back in August. Loveland authorities have found one of the suspects involved.

Officers responded to the scene in at Helzberg Diamonds and Zales on August 24th where a stolen vehicle was used to ram into the stores. Miguel Angel Montoya, age 20, of Thornton is currently in custody in Hastings, Nebraska. He is currently being held on unrelated charges police believe he has committed in Colorado.

Miguel Angel Montoya looking to face charges that include three counts of second degree burglary, theft, criminal mischief and aggravated motor vehicle theft.
