The Denver Broncos' home game on Sunday, November 22, against Miami, will be the last game this season in front of fans, the team announced in a press release.

Until then, the stadium has been allowing spectators to attend games at limited capacity, but due to COVID-19 case increases, games will go back to just cardboard fans, or the entire town of South Park.

The team made the official statement below:

'In consultation with state officials and public health experts, the Denver Broncos have made the decision that Sunday will be the final game played in front of fans at Empower Field at Mile High this season. Although we are confident in our strong safety protocols and have no evidence of any COVID-19 transmission traced to our home games, the increase in cases and hospitalizations locally requires us to adjust our future plans. Taking this precaution is consistent with the recent guidelines issued by local officials to limit gatherings with the holiday season approaching... The Broncos look forward to welcoming back the best fans in the NFL to Empower Field at Mile High in 2021.'

Refunds will be given to fans who have tickets to games later in the season, and season ticket holders can get an account credit. Contact tickets@broncos.nfl.net,  or call 720-258-3333 for ticket info.
