Over the weekend, you might have experienced an interruption in your travel plans, thanks to the summer snowstorm Colorado experienced. Happy first day of summer, Colorado!

According to a press release, Trail Ridge Road closed on Friday afternoon and has remained closed due to 1 to 5 foot drifts. Crews were able to ploy to Lava Cliffs, but had to eventually turn around due to " 50 mph winds, with heavy snow and major drifting".
