I have a thing for going to places that have been featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners Drive-ins and Dives". I have been to quite a few and I find these places fascinating to be honest. One of a kind places that you cannot find anywhere else is what I like about spots like this one. When I found myself unexpectedly in Marietta, GA. last week for some family business, I decided to take my mother out for breakfast to one of the places that I have seen in the past on Triple D while we were waiting on our meeting time to arrive.

So.. We went to the Marietta Diner! According to the Food Network,  owner Gus and his family serve 500 items off the menu to almost 3,000 people each day. The Marietta Diner is the number 1 rated diner in Georgia and the 3rd nationwide. I could see why when we got there. The place was chrome and awesome. It doesn't hurt that it is open 24 hours a day as well. Check out some of the photos that I took of the Marietta Diner in Cobb county, Georgia:

Someday, I might be back to the Atlanta metro area. If I am I will certainly be coming back to the Marietta Diner. I'll be sure to bring my big camera because I really want to take a photo of the building lit up in neon at night!
