Shinedown have just released a piano version of “Get Up.” The stripped-down version of their mental health hit comes right in time for the band’s U.S. shows.

“Get Up” became a hit from Shinedown’s Attention Attention album, which was singer Brent Smith’s first while sober. Inspired by watching his bassist, Eric Bass, deal with clinical depression, the track is about supporting loves ones going through a rough time.

"We don't want people to feel ashamed about what they're going through. You're not going to be defined by your failures," Smith said. "You're going to be defined by the fact that you didn't give up."

Shinedown will perform tonight (May 3) at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tenn. and plan to tour the U.S. for most of May. Shinedown begin their headlining tour with support from Badflower, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Broken Hands from June 21 to July 27.
