Spring will bring with it not only the much-needed nicer weather, but the Easter Bunny hiding those eggs, and fun stuff for adults, too. After being beaten down by Mother Nature's unappreciated winter, we could all use some spring fun.

More than a few egg hunts, a couple of brunches, an adult-themed scavenger hunt. These will be fun events to welcome spring, nice weather, and the smiles of kids and friends. Which events will you be hitting up?

Colored eggs, plastic eggs with prizes inside. Running around trying to find as many as you can to get into your basket, hopefully without having to wear a winter coat while doing so. Easter egg hunts in Colorado can be "iffy," but fun, nonetheless.

Traveling for Easter: Things That You Can't Take Through the Eisenhower Tunnel

It goes without saying there are things you shouldn't take through a 1.69-mile tunnel. When it comes to Colorado's Eisenhower Tunnel, some materials have to take the alternate route over Loveland Pass. What happens when Loveland Pass is closed due to severe weather?

When it comes to some materials, they will shut down traffic at Eisenhower Tunnel so trucks transporting shipments of hazardous material can pass. This happens frequently. There are, however, certain materials that are "... not allowed through the Eisenhower Tunnels at any time." According to cotrip.org, these explosive, poisonous, and in some cases, radioactive materials cannot be transported through the tunnels.
