Both the boys and girls basketball teams for Windsor High School are on to the Great 8 at the State Tournament.

The No. 1 seeded Wizards boys team beat No. 16 Aurora Central 92-56 on Thursday (March 11). Meanwhile the No. 3 seed Windsor girls team beat No. 14 Northridge 75-41.

Both teams will now get a little bit of rest, as all of the state tournament rounds scheduled for this weekend have been postponed because of the impending snowstorm. Both Wizards squads will now next play Monday, March 15:

  • Boys vs. No. 9 Pueblo South
  • Girls vs. No. 6 George Washington
