Martin Luther King Jr. March In Colorado

Martin Luther King Jr. is a name that you've heard, and more than likely learned about in school. As a young boy, I remember first learning about Dr. King, and what he meant to the civil rights movement in our country. If you've never seen his famous "I Have a Dream" speech, take time to watch it below. It's about as powerful as it gets.

"I Have a Dream" speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This historic speech was made by Dr. King on August 28th, 1963. One of many important speeches he would make on the social injustice in our country. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for combating racial inequality through nonviolent resistance. Sadly, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4th, 1968, in Memphis Tennessee.
