Aside from starring in the sequel to Eddie Murphy’s classic this year, Jones continues to host and serve as an executive producer on Supermarket Sweep. In addition, she also dropped a one-hour stand-up special, Time Machine, back in 2020, and previously hosted the BET Awards in 2017.
According to Colorado State University, Jones "transferred to CSU to play basketball, but then entered a comedy contest and was named “Funniest Person on Campus.” She left school to pursue comedy full time and joined the cast of Saturday Night Live." TIME magazine also included the star in its 2017 World’s 100 Most Influential People list.
Leslie Jones is giving fans a glimpse into what to expect when she hosts the award show airing Sunday, which you can watch here.
