Bring Me the Horizon are the biggest band in the scene. But how did they get there?

This week on the Note To Scene Podcast, Tyler unpacks the first half of the band's history. From their formation and first demos in 2004 through their third full-length album, There is a Hell... in 2010, he covers each album and controversy, including fairly forgotten assault charges against Oli Sykes in 2007.

Also included in the episode is mention of the abuse allegations against Sykes from his ex-wife Hannah Snowden. These will be covered in part two of the deep dive next week, but if anyone wants to read them now, here is a link to what she said.

This week also includes news from Chain Reaction, T. Mills' pop-punk band Girlfriends, a radio rundown and more. The iconic scene venue Chain Reaction announced it was closing due to the effects of the pandemic, but various scene bands including Stick to Your Guns, Knocked Loose and others came together to find ways for the venue to generate income during these difficult times. T. Mills has a pop-punk band called Girlfriends and they just released their first album. It's great, but will there be a commercial push for it?
