Open Liquor Containers Permitted in This Part of Old Town Fort Collins
The Exchange is Fort Collins' first common-consumption area, which will go into effect later this month.
A press release from Brinkman Colorado announced that The Exchange, which is on the north side of Old Town, will become an entertainment district for all ages, and a common consumption area for patrons 21 and older.
The Exchange is home to FoCo DoCo, Vatos Tacos and Tequila, Old Town Churn Ice Cream, CopperMuse Distillery, Pizza Press, Old Town Putt and more.
'Our vision for The Exchange has always been centered on creating a uniquely Fort Collins experience that fosters collaboration, innovation and connections. The introduction of the common consumption area will activate the communal areas of the project and support the programming we’re able to provide.' -Kevin Brinkman
Within the gated area of The Exchange, Brinkman will implement security measures and compliance will be monitored, and those under 21 years of age without wristbands will not be permitted to drink.
The Exchange is the tenth open-container entertainment district in Colorado, and you can learn more about it here.
