Northbound I-25 was shut down Sunday (July 24, 2016) afternoon due to an RV that was on fire just south of Prospect Road. According to the Coloradoan, both lanes of northbound I-25 were closed for about ten minutes as the Poured Fire Authority battled to put out the RV fire. After the fire was contained, the left lane was opened to let the traffic that had backed up through. The only person in the RV at the time of the fire was not injured and an investigation is underway to determine the cause that led to the "total loss" of the RV.
