Covid-19 Causes 21 Medical Clinics in Northern Colorado to Close

Kaiser Permanente is temporarily closing 21 of its clinics in Northern Colorado and the Boulder Valley to stem the spread of the Coronavirus.

According to Biz West, the healthcare provider announced the closures this week to patients via email. The medical buildings will be closed starting Monday, March 23 in Boulder, Brighton, Fort Collins, Greeley and Longmont.

Kaiser Permanente Statement:

As the situation around coronavirus and COVID-19 continues to evolve, we’re moving quickly to make some necessary changes to face this challenge head-on.

Kaiser went on to say that they're expanding virtual care to keep people from leaving their homes. They're also asking that patients postpone non-urgent procedures to keep space open for the critically ill.
