The winner of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize is coming to CSU in Fort Collins. Leymah Gbowee, who shared the Nobel Peace Prize for her work that brought an end to the Second Liberian Civil War, will speak in the Lory Student Center Grand Ballroom on March 6 at 6 p.m. She will be on the campus in observance of International Women’s Day.

Gbowee is the founder and president of the Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa, which provides educational and leadership opportunities to girls, women and youth in West Africa, and a co-founder of the Women Peace and Security Network Africa. Gbowee is also the proud mother of six children.
