The legendary heavyweight champion boxer who was battling Parkinson's disease was recently admitted into the hospital for respiratory issues in the Phoenix area. Muhammad Ali no only was a boxer that won the gold medal in light heavyweight class in the 1960 Olympics, he was a social icon reaching much farther outside of the ring.  Ali's famous words "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" have echoed for decades past his retirement in 1981.

In a statement released, Ali's funeral will be held in his hometown of Louisville said spokesman Bob Gunnell. Flags will be lowered to half staff in Louisville Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

May Muhammad "The People's Champ" Ali Rest in Peace.
