Man Found Dead in Coal Creek Canyon

Deputies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in Coal Creek Canyon on Tuesday.

According to a press release from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, deputies and first responders from the Coal Creek Canyon Fire Department were dispatched to the 3400 block of Coal Creek Canyon in unincorporated Boulder County, where family members from a nearby residence found the unidentified 63-year-old man deceased outside in a wooded area.

Cause and manner of death are being investigated, but foul play is not yet suspected.
