Justin Kill, who resides across the alley from the motel, said that he was just about to head to bed on Wednesday night when he took his dogs outside and saw the police activity that was underway.

While Kill wasn't entirely 'in the know' about what was happening near his home Wednesday night, he said police activity in that specific area has been consistent and has increased over the last week.

“I’m kind of used to it” Kill said.
