Police in Loveland are looking for a man who intruded on two Loveland homes last month, claiming he had been "sent by God" to marry the homeowner’s daughter.

Now, that is one creepy dude I don't want walking around town anymore.

According to Fox 31, the intrusions happened on August 23rd on Spring Glade Road in northwest Loveland.

At the first house the homeowner discovered the man in his living room, sitting on his couch. The intruder told the homeowner that he had been “sent by God to marry his daughter.” The homeowner told him to get out of his house, and he did.

But he went to a neighbor’s house and tried the exact same story when stopped in the driveway by that homeowner. (This one didn’t even have a daughter!) But again, he left without incident after being asked to.

Investigators are looking for more information on the suspect who is described as a white male between the age of 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-eight and 130 pounds. Deputies say he was driving a newer silver Honda or Toyota.

That’s just plain creepy. And pretty sure breaking into a house and telling a girl’s father that God told you to marry his daughter is not how to make a good impression.

If you have any information about this guy, please call the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at 970-498-5178, or Larimer County Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
