Between the prices and rising interest rates over the past several months, the housing situation in America is just bonkers and one of the states where the craziness continues is right here in Colorado.

While things may seem to be "cooling off" a bit, the average price for a single family detached home in Larimer County is right around $550K, so that's why I say this home in Wellington for $335K is quite the steal.

When you find a place going for over $200K under the average price in a county, it's probably not going to be livable for a while, going to be a tiny box or a combination of both but in this case, not so much.

According to Property Shark, this property, located at 7850 Elder in Wellington which has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath and over 1000 square feet of living space is not only livable but downright nice.

I'm not including townhomes, condos, manufactured homes, 55+ communities or anything like that, this is simply for detached single family homes.

The home which was built in 1979 has been updated nicely throughout and even has a nice size yard to go along with a sprinkler system and it's within walking distance to some shops and restaurants in the charming and growing town of Wellington.

You can't get much for $335K anymore which is ridiculous when you say it out loud but sadly when it comes to housing in many places, especially here in Colorado it's very true.

That's what makes this place pretty exciting, it's a move in ready home that's actually nice but don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself on this little virtual tour.
