Larimer County Reports Over 180 New COVID-19 Cases Monday
The Larimer County Department of Health added 182 new COVID-19 cases to its cumulative tally on Monday (Jan. 26).
The 182 new cases are dated from last Friday (Jan. 22) through Monday (Jan. 25). The youngest case is a 5-year-old Fort Collins boy and the oldest is an 87-year-old Fort Collins woman.
There were no additional COVID-19 related deaths reported in Larimer County on Monday; there have been a total of 185 COVID-19 deaths in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
Among the 185 deaths, 76 deaths were recorded in December, making it the deadliest month of the pandemic for Larimer County.
The county has recorded 29 deaths since New Years Day, making January the second deadliest month of the pandemic, followed by November in which 22 deaths were reported.
As of Tuesday morning (Jan. 26), there have been 17,356 cases of COVID-19 in Larimer County since the beginning of the pandemic.
Larimer County's overall risk rating remains high with a positivity rating of 5.8% and an overall prevalence of 360 cases per 100,000 people over the past two weeks.
