COVID-19 cases are on the rise in Larimer County.

According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, there were 44 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Larimer County on Sunday (Oct. 11), which brought the county to a new cumulative total of 2,984 cases.

In addition, the county remained a high-risk area for a fourth consecutive day, which was determined by the LCDH's risk score on Sunday.

The Larimer County Department of Health has been keeping track of COVID-19 cases since March 9.

Among the 44 new cases, 32 cases were found in Fort Collins, seven in Loveland, two in  Windsor, two in Estes Park and one in Johnstown. The youngest case is a 10 year old Fort Collins boy; the oldest case is a 78 year old Loveland woman.

As per Sunday's reports, the number of lives lost to COVID-19 remained steady at a total of 54 deaths since the beginning of March; The number of outbreaks did not rise either - the total remained at 58.

As of Monday afternoon (Oct. 12), the cumulative total of COVID-19 cases in Larimer County is 3,030, and the county is now at a medium-level risk.
