The Larimer County Department of Health reported 3 new COVID-19 related deaths on Thursday (Jan. 28).

With the addition of 3 new deaths in the county, Larimer County has now recorded 192 COVID-19 related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

The newly listed deaths include a 90-year-old Fort Collins woman who died Monday (Jan. 25), and an 86-year-old Loveland woman who died Jan. 12.

The third newly recorded COVID-19 death occurred in December.

December still remains the deadliest month of the pandemic for Larimer County with 77 recorded deaths, followed by January which has seen 35 deaths so far, and November with with 22 recorded deaths.

The county's cumulative total of cases has risen by 149 since Wednesday; as of Friday (Jan. 29), there have now been 17,586 cases of COVID-19 recorded in Larimer County since the beginning of the pandemic.

Larimer County's overall risk rating remains high with a positivity rating of 5.7% and an overall prevalence of 305 cases per 100,000 people over the past two weeks.
